Professor DuBowy has a long experience of teaching and researching in the field of Ecohydrology, lecturing Wetlands Ecology and Restoration Ecology at Purdue University, Texas A&M University, and The University of Newcastle, Australia, and UNESCOsponsored Erasmus Mundus Master of Science in Ecohydrology Programme (EMME) at the University of Łódź (ULO), Poland, and the University of Algarve (UAL), Portugal, Hydrological Analysis for Ecosystem Restoration at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) at the USACE Hydrological Engineering Center (HEC), Davis, California USA, and also Ecohidrología y Análisis de la Calidad de Agua del lago Titicaca at the Universidad Nacional del Altiplano (UNA), Peru.
